Greetings from Will Dawson, III, Interim Administrator, HUD’s Southwest Office of Native American Programs,
SWONAP Administrator Update: Will Dawson will be serving as the Acting Administrator of Southwest ONAP on a 120 day detail beginning July 21st, 2019 and ending after 120 days or when a permanent SWONAP Administrator is selected. Will has served as the as the Grants Evaluation Division Director in Eastern Woodlands ONAP since July 2016. Prior to joining ONAP, Will worked for Community Planning and Development (CPD) in both headquarters and the field and is a retired military veteran after 21 years of service in the US Army. Will holds both a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Texas San Antonio. We express gratitude to Cheryl Dixon Zuni for her work while serving as Acting SWONAP Administrator during this time of transition, and welcome Will to his new role.
