| On Wednesday, February 12, 2020, the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) is holding a Tribal Consultation with Tribal leaders, representatives, and stakeholders to discuss tribal set-aside funding from the Federal Crime Victims Fund and how it should be programmed.|
The Tribal Consultation on Tribal Set-Aside Funding from the Crime Victims Fund will be held in conjunction with the National Congress of American Indians (NCAI) 2020 Executive Council Winter Session in Washington, D.C. The Tribal Consultation is free of charge and you do not have to register for the NCAI Executive Council Winter Session to attend. Onsite registration and preregistration check-in will start at 12:00 p.m. ET and the Tribal Consultation will take place from 1:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. ET at the Capital Hilton in Washington, D.C.
The purpose of the Consultation is to discuss victim services grant award programs for tribal communities; information about the administration of the FY2020 tribal set-aside funding; and how Tribal leaders recommend that the set-aside funding be administered.
