Two Tribal energy and mineral resource development grant programs from U.S. Department of the Interior, Office of Indian Energy & Economic Development, Division of Energy & Mineral Development

The U.S. Department of the Interior, Office of Indian Energy & Economic Development, Division of Energy & Mineral Development administers two Tribal energy and mineral resource development grant programs; Energy & Mineral Development Program (EMDP) grant and Tribal Energy Development Capacity (TEDC) grant. The EMDP grant solicitation has just been published on grants.gov. EMDP funds can cover pre-development feasibility work for Tribal governments looking to develop their energy and/or mineral resources. This includes both renewable energy, conventional energy, construction aggregate, and woody biomass resource development, such as biomass energy project feasibility, wood pellet fuel manufacturing, and sales & distribution feasibility.
