Creating a Revolving Development Fund to Increase Middle Income Housing Opportunities

Middle-income housing opportunities remain a pressing need for many tribal communities. This course will provide strategies for implementing a revolving development fund program to increase middle income, affordable homeownership opportunities for households that may not qualify for NAHASDA housing or other income restricted housing options.

Training Objectives:

  • This session will provide creative opportunities to expand middle-income homeownership opportunities
  • This session will explore how a revolving development fund could be created to create more housing choice in tribal communities
  • This session will provide increased understanding of how a homeownership program could be established to leverage development capacity of a tribe while providing a affordable financing structure that can be sustainable.
