The 9th Annual Seminole Tribe of Florida Renewable Energy & Sustainability Conference returns February 1-3, 2027 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL!
Powering Sovereignty: Advancing Energy Independence in Indian Country!
Join us as the Seminole Tribe of Florida partners with the Alliance for Tribal Clean Energy for a transformative three‑day experience that unites two major events:
From February 1-3, 2027, the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s 9th Annual Renewable Energy & Sustainability Conference and the Alliance for Tribal Clean Energy’s 5th Annual Tribal Energy Evolution Summit (TEES) will be co-located at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
Together, these conferences create a purposeful progression from Tribal experience to collective action — first learning from the projects, innovations, challenges, and successes Native Nations are advancing today, then coming together to explore the policies, systems, and decisions that must evolve to support greater energy sovereignty across Indian Country.
Learn from Tribal Experience
The 9th Annual Seminole Tribe of Florida Renewable Energy & Sustainability Conference will showcase real-world projects, lessons learned, challenges overcome, and innovative approaches to renewable energy, battery storage, resilience, and sustainability across Indian Country.
Attendees will hear directly from Native Nations about what they are building, what they have learned along the way, and the strategies helping move projects forward—from development and financing to partnerships, infrastructure, and other practical approaches that advance Tribal energy goals.
Move Toward Collective Action
TEES will build on that practical foundation by creating space for deeper dialogue among Tribal leaders about the policies, systems, and decisions that shape their energy futures.
Through facilitated discussions, Tribal leaders will explore transmission planning, grid access and interconnection, project finance, permitting, utility rates, energy efficiency and reliability, climate resilience, and meaningful Tribal consultation and participation in energy policy and regulatory decision-making, with a focus on shared priorities and where collective Tribal leadership can help drive change.
Together, these events reflect a shared vision: Powering Sovereignty: Advancing Energy Independence in Indian Country.
By bringing these two gatherings together, #TribalCleanEnergyWeek creates an opportunity to learn from one another, strengthen relationships, identify shared priorities, and explore how collective Tribal leadership can help shape the policies, systems, and decisions that will influence the future of energy across Indian Country.
This single‑trip combined event is all about connecting, planning, and taking action toward a sustainable future.
